Public buildings such as libraries and museums often do safe and cover under their roof often priceless treasures and irretrievable precious values and assets of our cultural and natural heritage that must be permanently protected for future generations and beyond.

The try to save money on the material used for covering such a roof, would definitely mean to try to make savings in the wrong places and false economic decision. A flooding and inrush of water penetrating into the building due to a failing roof covering could quickly destroy unique paintings forever or put a central computer system or sensitive special-purpose machinery out of service.

A RESITRIX® roof is capable of durable withstand harsh weather situations and chemical or atmospheric influences, any temperature changes and tensile stresses. The EPDM top of the waterproofing membranes (synthetic rubber) is characterized in particular by a very stable cross-linked molecular structure which makes RESITRIX® indestructible by UV and weathering of any kind.

At the same time the cross-linked molecular structure makes RESITRIX® extremely flexible. The material retains a tear elongation factor of 500% and still returns completely to its original dimensions. Thus RESITRIX® is capable of withstanding a lifetime of the most extreme mechanical stress and tensile strains, to which flat roofs are typically exposed.

RESITRIX® is subject to virtually no aging process and there is no measurable reduction in its weight, thickness or tensile strength throughout its entire service life on the roof.

In addition, installation methods of RESITRIX® are just like the ingredients of the waterproofing mebranes themselves, completely ecologically safe, so RESITRIX® also there complies with the most important requirement of responsible building in the 21st Century: The close combination between sustainable ecology and economy.
